Someone special I would like you to meet:

Also, I recommend this page about athletic raw vegan females.

Yep, being lean and muscular is what I am aiming at. My current training includes swimming, cardio and weights at the gym, plus belly dancing, my heart hobby, of course. In case you have not read my earlier journal entries, let me tell you a little story. 3 years ago I had a disc injury. For a whole year after that I was experiencing pain if I stood or walked for more than several minutes. I continued to work, somehow, using a stool while lecturing, and marking students work while lying on the floor of my office, but every day after work, I had to stay in bed and could not even sweep the floor. Two years after my injury, I regained a lot of my abilities and I was finally able to do clean the house or do some gardening. In the recent year I focused on swimming, because this is a safe type of exercise I can do and because I hoped that it could strengthen my core muscles. So I was swimming my 1km several times a week, and observed incredible improvements. But I did not get back on my bike yet (I used to cycle to work in hilly Hobart before my injury). Then, in the recent month I finally felt that I could do a little more than that, and I joined the gym. I cannot do all the exercises (can't lift), but there is a lot I can. So I go to the gym 4 times a week, do the cardio and weights. I observe further improvements. My goal and ideal is a lean, muscular body. I am interested in athleticism. It feels good to kick ass.

Scientists hail 'cure' for common cold!!! Sorry guys, but you are a little late. The cure for common cold has been found already. Please study raw foodists. When is the last time I got a cold? I can't tell. But before raw, this was happening every year.

Some Maths in relation to this video:

Daniel said, quote: "40 pounds box of grapes, and I just ate grapes for 2 weeks".

According to the caloric estimator at http://caloriecount.about.com/calories-grapes-i9131, there are roughly 62kcal in 92g of grapes, giving
(1000/92)*62 = 673.9130kcal per kilo.
This is an estimate of course. I looked at other estimators and they all are roughly about 600-700kcal per kilo of grapes. So lets assume the above figure for the sake of the evaluation here.

1 pound is approximately 0.45359237 kilograms, and so 40 pounds of grapes translates into roughly
(40*0.45359237)*673.9130 =12228 kcal.

Further, "40 pounds box of grapes, and I just ate grapes for 2 weeks" translates into:
12228/14 = 874kcal per day.

One of the lowest caloric estimates per day I heard are those by Tim van Orden, a raw vegan athlete, who estimates his intake at 1500kcal per day. So I will take this figure for a conservative comparison. The 40 pounds of grapes would last Tim about
12228/1500 = 8.2 days.

So yes, I am not surprised that Daniels did not feel comfortable on his version of the fruit-based diet. He was practically starving.

I give Harley for his mathematics and logic in the video a tick.
