There was a message on one of the forums addressed to "all the fruit lovers". Yes, I thought, I am a fruit lover!!! This thought filled me with a nice, warm feeling inside. Yes, I do love rock-melon that I am eating right now, I love my weekly durians (heavenly experience), my daily bananas, apples. Mmmm, mangoes are available now at the market and the persimmons season is coming up too. Mmm mmm mmm. Bliss.

My most recent eating pattern is,
During the week: mostly juicy fruit in the morning, then a bunch of greens (spinach/bok choy/lettuce etc), then fruit again, until I get home. In the evening, I like having mandarines and some other fruit. Often, I have a salad or some other non-mono meal.
During the weekend: as I feel like, and often a durian!!!

It is now a tradition that my children have a banana smoothie in the morning. Julia usually wakes up and asks "Where is my smoothie?", which makes me absolutely happy, naturally. Julia often refuses to eat cooked food that I still prepare for my kids (daily dinner). For example, yesterday, she said that she had enough (I made some potatoes and other vegies for my children), and then sat down next to me and started eating my mandarines. Glorious! Both Odys and Julia love smoothies so much, that they do not mind having them for dinner. So, I often do that. Also, ususally, I encourage them to have fruit in the afternoon, before I start preparing the cooked dinner for them. I can see a gradual transformation in both of them (they no longer suffer from constipation, for example).

As far as the changes in my body, since entering the 30-day raw challenge, I can see that my body is slightly leaner. I have not lost any muscles. On the contrary, I begin to notice that I actually have some! A few days ago I flexed my arms and was surprised at the effect.

I realized that the macrobiotic influence in my diet has completely died. I am not eating any grains anymore, since I switched from wheat to flax-seed flat bread.

It's a breakthrough! A couple of weeks ago, I finally decided to stop using shampoo/conditioner altogether (I was toying with the idea for a while) and started 6-week hair challenge. And, today, for the first time in about two weeks, my hair is not greasy anymore!!! It's nice and soft, and curly. I love it!

The most wonderful event of this month is me winning Alissa Cohen's fantastic book! I ordered a DVD that goes with it, and am so excited in aniticpation of the arrival of the parcel. I have not seen the book yet, but I am already in love with it! And, I want to see the movie!!!
